Jim Kirsner formerly held senior management positions in Berkeley-based Barra, Inc., a global provider of investment analytics and trading solutions. He was the company’s CFO and served as head of the Barra Ventures Division. Prior to his career at Barra, Jim was a partner in the Audit and Business Advisory Practice of Arthur Andersen, LLP. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and was a general course student at the London School of Economics. He presently is a business consultant and serves on the boards of Ask Jeeves, Inc. and Bank of Marin, and is a former board member of the New Century Chamber Orchestra.
